Twin Peaks performed Mechanical Systems inspections for the UAE: Mission to the United Nations project. The building is located at 315 East 46th St. in NYC.

The 10-story building is designed by Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill (SOM). The building’s architecture incorporates palm leaves, which are a symbol of peace in the Middle East. Additionally, the architecture of the building complements NYC’s architectural history and reflects Middle Eastern hospitality. The chief motive behind the interior design of the building is hospitality and meeting with friends and strangers.

The 75,000-square-foot building includes event spaces, a lobby, offices, a main common area, executive levels, and a roof terrace. The amenity level includes a dining room, library, daycare, lounges, and a pool table; the hospitality of the building and well-being of the staff is evident through the amenity level. The amenity level is a supportive environment for the parents that work on the mission’s team.

Levels four through six include offices and workspaces for the employees. On levels seven and eight, the executive levels can be found; both floors provide beautiful views of Dag Hammarskjold Plaza below. The building also has a great number of meeting rooms, in comparison to its size. Lastly, the rooftop terrace provides beautiful views of the city and is surrounded by greenery.
