Many of TPI's technicians and inspectors possess post-secondary and graduate degrees in architecture, civil, mechanical, electrical, and geotechnical engineering, along with relevant professional certifications. Our staff have also attained certifications with the following organizations:
Twin Peaks, Inc. is a multidisciplinary special inspections firm providing QA/QC, construction inspection, and materials testing services in the tri-state area. We have provided special inspections and laboratory services for over three decades. All our special inspections operations are performed in accordance with the Building Code of New York City (BCNYC).
TPI holds a Class 1 Special Inspection Agency (License No. 000317), issued by the NYC Department of Buildings, and the inspection operations are accredited by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA), which is an independent accreditation body. We operate under the requirements outlined in International Standard Organization ISO/IEC 17020:2012 (Conformity assessment – Requirements for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspections) and ASTM E-329 (Standard Specifications for Agencies Engaged in Construction Inspections and/or Testing). Additionally, TPI’s construction materials testing laboratory is licensed by the NYC DOB (License No. 000050) and accredited by the AASHTO Accreditation Program.
