Twin Peaks, Inc. has been working with the School Construction Authority (SCA) since 2019 for schools in the Bronx and Brooklyn. The School Construction Authority's (SCA) goal is to design and create secure, attractive, and environmentally friendly public schools for children throughout the several communities of New York City.


The SCA is committed to utilizing a prudent and economical approach in building and renovating schools. They attain unparalleled quality in security, excellence, and integrity.


The School Construction Authority works on projects throughout the five boroughs of New York City. The SCA works closely with school officials during the design and construction phase of school projects. The SCA is responsible for the development and restoration of all NYC public schools. Over 300,000 new school seats have been provided by the SCA for New York City students.


The SCA ensures immediate needs are met, along with incorporating the standards and goals of the represented communities. The SCA can design practical and resilient spaces through incorporating innovative materials and technology. The SCA has an unwavering dedication to security, excellence, and integrity for the projects they represent.


The following is a short list of inspections and tests performed by Twin Peaks throughout multiple schools in the Bronx and Brooklyn: Concrete - Cast-In-Place: Reinforcing Steel; Concrete - Cast-In-Place: Placement; Masonry; Fire-Resistant Penetrations and Joints; Excavation - Sheeting, Shoring, and Bracing; Structural Stability - Existing Buildings; and Pull Test.
