Twin Peaks has been providing Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspections for the JFK Terminal One project since 2025. We’re thrilled to be a part of the JFK Terminal One project, as we are participating in the largest megaproject in the country. JFK is the country’s busiest airport for international travel.

Construction work being done on JFK Terminal One

The $9.5 billion project has generated 10,000 jobs. The new Terminal One is scheduled to open in stages, starting in 2026. The anticipated opening date for the terminal is in 2030; once complete, it will be the largest terminal in JFK Airport and among the largest in the United States. The new Terminal One will change the travel experience. It will feature over 300,000 square feet of retail, dining, and airline lounge space.

The new terminal will also include a children’s play area, an indoor green area, and cultural displays. The project will incorporate on-site power using a green energy source into the blueprint of the terminal. It’s an exciting time, as we await the completion of the new Terminal One at JFK Airport!
